SEI’s strategy teams connect more than 120 preschools and home visiting programs, 80 K-12 schools, 75 after-school and extracurricular programs, and several area colleges.

Together, this alliance supports over 68,000 students on the journey from cradle to career.

Our Transition Skills Summary (of childhood development) has been used with over 15,000 students in area preschools, helping teachers and families support kindergarten readiness.

3rd grade reading achievement increased 5% across Summit County in 2019, with students of color making the greatest gains.

Over 900 middle-school students and 125 adult volunteers participated in our Math Challenge Day events in 2019.

9th grade success climbed 6% in 2019, helping an additional 250 students get on track for graduation and college readiness.

Our original ACT® Math study course, used by more than 10,000 students since 2016, raises scores by 3 points.

College readiness has increased by 10% among Summit County high school graduates since we began this work in 2011.
